1st Acceptance Letter!!! My Short Story is Getting Published!
I was sitting at the lunch table at work going through my personal email when I saw the words "Story Acceptance" in the subject line of an email!! My heart started pounding and my face flushed as I opened the email. Yes! It said my story had been accepted and they will be publishing it in the Youth Imaginations Magazine April edition!
Writing Advice: The Situation Comes First?
There is a ton of advice out there, some of it great and some of it misunderstood. A great deal of advice is taken out of context. Stephen King's advice is often taken out of context. Sometimes it is rather self explanatory, sometimes not. Here is a quote that had me a bit baffled as I read it.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Book Review
This book has been on my to-read list for...well since the book came out. Somehow I never made time for it, until it showed up as a choice on the reading list for my Youth Literature class.
