Name five books that you didn’t get to in 2022 but want to make a priority in 2023. Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger This was her debut novel which went on to win awards. I think every book she has written won awards. She is a member of the Lipan Tribe. The book is about a girl names Elatsoe. She can raise animals from the dead. When her cousin is murdered, she investigates, uncovering secrets hidden by her picture perfect village. Fated Sky by Mary Robinette Kowal I read The Calculating Stars (book 1 in the series) when these first came out. I loved it so much I bought Fated Sky to read right away. Well... Life happened and I didn't get around to it yet. But this will be the year!

Peter Green and the Unliving Academy Book Review
Peter wakes up at a train station wearing pajamas and a tie. He has no memory other than his name is Peter. He quickly learns that he’s dead and this is the Afterlife. He is directed to his school. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Book Review
This book has been on my to-read list for...well since the book came out. Somehow I never made time for it, until it showed up as a choice on the reading list for my Youth Literature class. Now, it was homework... the best kind of homework ever! I am loving this class which forces me to make time to read some awesome books!
